The payment conversion rate report has just gone live. This includes Access Model filtering on the relevant reports also.
The new Subscription report is being uploaded as a write.

Glenn |

| Quote: | | would like to propose the possibility to manage user's permission to view usage information and stats by bango numbers. So I can give partners permission to see only their bango number figures giving direct access to BANGO stats |
You can achieve this in one of two ways:
1. Use the Bango export reports, filter the data and then send your clients an excel report.
OR
2. If you want to manage multiple sites the best way to do this is to set up different Bango Packages for your different clients. _________________ Elaine

Our next release has just gone live - a small release but a goody.
We've added a Content Urls export report to the Analytics - this report lets you easily see your Bango Numbers and where their content urls map to.
You can filter on Bango Number, Access Model (e.g. Free vs Premium numbers), Content Types (e.g. Mobile Pages, Relay enabled pages, or specific Image links) and Device Supports type (this is where you can specify multiple URLs dependent on the rendering capabilities of the phone.)
PDF, XML and CSV export support included.

Glenn |

Another week, another Analytics release...
This time, we've added a seperate Refunds Export report. This way you can easily view the refunded transactions on your package and export the details for off-line viewing.

In my experience I have found the new bango analytics usefull but not as 100% as the old statistics at times and a lot slower in updating your traffic and payments
When I first started with bango in June 2005 the statistics were near enough instant a refresh after 30 seconds or so would update your stats page for traffic and payments
I know the new analytics must be more server intense to display all the stats they do , which is a great deal of information , however cant we have a basic quick stats like the original stats too which is just for traffic and payments for that day/hour so that could run a lot quicker and smoother as it is pulling less information in ? |

While we appreciate the Analytics model can seem intensive and slow to access at times, you have to consider these facts -
In the last month, we have seen as much mobile traffic as the ENTIRE year previous; and this is repeated for every month we go back.
That is to say the amount of information we are logging is increasing exponentially, so stats which were available in June 2005 were both sparse and potentially lacking in detail compared to the depth and accuracy we offer today.
If you can summarise exactly what it is you want to see in "quick stats", then we can look to investigate, however you should be able to gain the information you require from the dashboard tab which shows 24 hours activity, or from the Analytics Center which always gives you the last 7 days activity.

Im not knocking the new analytics Glenn they are great but at times I dont want all of that information I just want a quick summary of how the day is going , total visits and total customer spend , I thought a "quick stats" could just pull that info needed and load quicker
The main feature I am dissapointed about is the update time of the stats , sometimes the visits to my site / customer spend freeze and do not update at all untill the next hour , that is the reason for my concern as the stats did used to update allmost instantly
The new stats do load ok and are great to use they are just not updated quick enough with the information and the various parts of the stats are at times out of sync thats why I suggested a "quick stats" so maybe you could feed the info to those quicker and it would be less of a strain on the bango servers |

We're looking at addressing this issue.
We are currently well underway with a data centre migration which should significantly improve performance.
We're also looking at "shaping" the data into a true Reporting Service which (with our current prototyping) is looking at improvements upto 1000%, however this is a much larger and longer term project - > 1 million transactions a day to be re-formatted and pumped into a reporting server is something we need to do right
When these improvements have been implemented, we can revisit the statistics cache timings to see if we can tweak them in your favour...

Glenn |

A quick update from last week which wasn't posted about - Unique Visitors has been expanded to allow viewing the data by Daily Visits and By Bango Number breakdown.
Be aware that due to the segregation of this data, you may see different totals figures, depending on the view you are looking at.
For example, the Total Unique Visitors will show ALL unique visitors over the selected date range. However, one of those visitors may have visited your site on numerous occasions; thus if you change to Daily Visitors, that visitor will occur on multiple days. Similarly for By Bango Number, a single unique visitor can be "seen" multiple times dependent on the Numbers they have passed through.

It's been a couple of weeks since the last Analytics release, but we have just uploaded our Goal Comparison service - access it from the Visitors section of the nav in the Analytics Centre.
This allows you to define a "goal" page, and then multi-select entry pages to track users entering your site and ultimately ending up on your goal page.
This can be used for PPC advertising routes in, or tracking (for example) content display pages to the payment page, showing users accessing each page seperately, and how many ended up on the Goal page (with percentage "conversion" rates)

This is absolutely awesome , I thought I would have to add some integration to my pages but no its all straight forward
A nice feature would be the option to add "all" to the goal from the start page , for those with loads of numbers |
