Streamlining the Bango Network ID's

To make the Network ID’s easier to use, we are going to adjust them on our systems, so at a glance, you will know which country the operator is from.

As such, new ID names will be phased in from the 1st July 2008. This will hopefully take no more than two weeks to complete and we will try to make sure that this has as little impact on content providers and users alike.

We need your help to make this procedure as streamlined and carefree as possible. You will need to adjust your systems to accept both the old and new Network ID’s before the 1st July deadline.

Once this is complete, content providers will still be able to pass our API’s with old network ID’s but we will only output the new ID’s, so we do recommend that the changes are made beforehand.

so Bango are dropping the r= and n= parameters for just one that combines all the information? What is the new parameter going to be?

Please have a look and update the ID's on your systems before the 1st July 08.
