Yep - you are pretty good at 90% of things but 69000 is becoming irritating!

Take a look at our September revenues on that platform. They are up for a period then down then up etc. We can't run any financial model on that especially when we can't fully understand how our position is calculated.

I have to say I am feeling very disillusioned with 69000 so far. For months I've been hearing about the huge sales and the reality has been rather different...

Having worked at Bango and seen 69000 from the other side I know that the listing your site on there can be real success. You just need to keep plugging at it making your platform / site / content better than the rest. I’ve seen sites on there that have German descriptions to content – why it’s a UK portal? Some sites have the buy link 10 pages deep – who is going to click that deep if they are in a rush for content? Some content I've bought is worse quality than other sites previews images - where is the incentive for me to come back?

The traffic is there, the people are willing to spend, you just need to extract by making your platform / site / content smarter and better.

I am getting about one page visit an hour on page 3 of 69000 and the site has been set up with a U rated landing and super quick access to any content within 1 click. There is no German language or anything else like you have mentioned. I also have exclusive content of top named models and I'd say that the quality of the video exceeds the image previews. Believe me I REALLY want this to work but there is just no traffic!!!

Edit: I have both U and R rated content.

Thanks Gareth. The site is called Sexymobile4u and I think its been pretty well set up but the shear lack of traffic is killing me despite a pretty good conversion rate. Given the requirement for a pro package and then the added cost of the 69000 package I am losing a small fortune here.

I hadn't heard anything more back from you or from Bango after I wrote to them a week ago, so I did some investigating and discovered that certain users of 69000 are operating outside the agreed conditions, either not including a link back to 69000 or simply forwarding to one of their own sites. Bango has now received some video evidence to see what is happening and anybody who knows the system will realise how much traffic is being denied to other site owners.

On top of that many sites are selling very R rated content with U rated bango numbers. This happens most commonly late in the evening but again its very clear that those are the sites which will be getting all the traffic and the sales at the expense of others who abide by the rules. I have also seen content in R rated sections which would be considered illegal under UK law I believe. Go onto wap.com and you'll also find sites with serious R rated content marketed with U rated Bango numbers, so this is a fairly widespread practice and I think Bango needs to be checking out more sites.

My own site is pretty well set up and I have good quality exclusive content but that isn't helping me much in this situation and I am losing money every single day.
